Heather is an experienced childcare provider with extensive knowledge of educational and emotional needs for all age ranges. She is qualified to NVQ level 3, and has spent the last 5 years working closely with the children as a teaching assistant at Thelwall Infant School. this has provided opportunity to gain further knowledge through government provided courses on areas such as behaviour, SEN, Numeracy and Literacy. Heather opened the Rainbow Guides group in Thelwall with her sister Claire, 10 years ago and has been running it on a voluntary basis ever since.

Anne Marie has three children and has been a working mum for the past 14 years, understanding the demands of juggling work and parenthood. Therefore, empathising with the support needed for both parents and children throughout the transition of returning to work, with little ideas to make the change easier. Anne Marie has an accounts degree and will ensure the smooth running of the nursery administration as well and devoting time to offering extra cuddles and care in the nursery.

With both of us coming from big families in Thelwall, we are supported by a wonderful network of people with many, many skills. With this support and encouragement we have been successful in achieveing our dream nursery and putting back into the village some of the community and support we enjoyed growing up.
